does darktable for windows use multiple cores

Multi-window is a completely different issue than multithreading. and the shortcomings for GTK force us to be more patient, whether or not a future version offers us a technique, which at least may give us a chance to implement such multi window option with reasonably amount of efforts?.from the other thread #2044 basically you also support to the idea of multiscreen support?
