The other strange thing I noticed is the internal fqdn for Outlook Anywhere on the 2019 DAGs for both external and internal is while on the 2013 box, the internal url is and external points to. Microsoft support also indicated that Exchange 2019 uses MAPI ? and not RPC with regards to Outlook Anywhere. I am of the opinion that their troubleshooting steps are based on the result/output of the healtchceker script I sent them which were masked. I am running out of things to try and my gut feeling is that these Microsoft folks do not know what or how to troubleshoot this. Whitelisted all drives / paths where Exchange mailboxes are stored from our EDM software Server power plan is set to High Performance.

I don't think that has anything to do with that. The script flagged the NUMA Group Size Optimization which they suggested I change from clustered to Flat. They recently suggested I run the Healthchecker script which I ran. I recently engaged Microsoft support and I get the impression that the outsourcing folks from the other side of the planet have no clue. Note: We have ECP blocked from the Internet. Send/Receive namespace is on the 2019 boxes. There are still over 75% of mailboxes on the 2013 boxes as we migrate the mailboxes over to 2019. We started migrating to the 2019 DAG last week. The users at the site that I visited last week were on the same mailbox database as I am.Įnvironment: Exchange 2013 (single box), and 2 Exchange 2019 DAG (1-to-1). Last week, I visited another site on another project and I was checking my email and I received the error as well. The strangest thing about this error is that it is only happening only at 1 site and only to about 30 users at only that site. We are getting the 'Outlook is trying to retrieve data from Exchange Server ' and it started about 4-6 weeks ago.

My google kungfu lead me to a few sites as well (spiceworks and a few others). I did searched through this subreddit and I tried pretty much all the suggestions I read on here.
